On my podcast journey, I found the Rachet Book club and it kind of reminded me of myself.

See I consider myself a classy dame, but I am from the inner city of Yonkers, New York aka D-Block aka the hood.

That means that no matter how classy I am, there will always be a taste of hood in me.

The host Derik Jones does a wonderful job in reading rachet books with a professional tone to his voice that captures the listener.

There is an entire world of podcasts out there, the titles and genres are endless.

There is a podcast for just about everything and I am absolutely loving the journey both as a writer and as a host.

The Rachet Book club is straight up no Bull… some of the books on the show are rachet & raunchy.

This is a gem for avid readers like me!

I would classify this podcast under “guilty pleasure”

As someone who was raised in the hood, I still enjoy my hood things.

Hood things like, the famous NY Baconeggandcheese.. yes, that’s one word!

I enjoy my buttered roll and yoohoo and I watch the occasional Love n Hip Hop

This podcast was a great find!
